Five colour photographs

A series of photographs inspired by Witold Gombrowicz's novel, Cosmos (1965). In a scene in the book, two characters set about an absurd investigation into the rooms of a servant girl in an attempt to discover clues in addition to those that they believed had already led them there. Five of the 'clues' discovered in the rooms were recreated in 89 Erlanger Road, London, and then photographed; the photographs were then put on display in the house as part of the exhibition 'Living with the Dutch', curated by David Wilkinson and Beáta Veszely.
